The Yellow Coat Club
The Yellow Coat Club is more than a book—it’s a movement. At its heart is a simple truth: we were all created with purpose, and each of us has a “yellow coat,” a symbol of the identity we were meant to wear.
But life has a way of convincing us to hide. We cover up with masks, personas, and stories that aren’t true to who we are. We trade authenticity for acceptance. We shrink back from the freedom of being known.
The Yellow Coat Club is an invitation to stop hiding and start becoming. It’s about the courage to step into your story, to feel what you need to feel, and to remember that you were fearfully and wonderfully made. It’s about belonging—to yourself, to others, and to the God who created you.
This movement is for anyone who has ever wondered if they are enough. Anyone who has ever longed to be seen, known, and loved for who they truly are.
About Sean
I know what it feels like to be unseen. To long for love and acceptance, and to believe that who I really was would never be enough. When I was nine years old, my dad died. Just five years later, my mom passed too. Losing both of my parents at such a young age left me feeling like a stranger to myself.
In the years that followed, I tried to be everything to everyone—shapeshifting to earn love, numbing my pain through addiction, chasing success and relationships to prove I was worth something. On the outside, I looked fine. On the inside, I was drowning.
But God wasn’t finished with me. Through heartbreak, recovery, and grace, He restored what was broken. I learned to take off the masks and face the pain I had buried. I began to discover that my true identity had never been lost—it had been waiting for me all along, like a yellow coat hanging in the closet.
Today, I am a husband to Charlotte and a father to our son, Jack. My story is one of redemption, healing, and hope. The Yellow Coat Club is the story I’ve lived, and it’s also my invitation to you: to stop hiding, to start becoming, and to step into the life you were created to live.
Because you don’t need to become someone else. You were already made on purpose—for a purpose. And the world needs you to be you.
